mission statement

Programs & Services.

We are a small community with a small population base. The following programs are offered as funds are available. There is no national humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals to help with local needs. Tahoe pets depend on Tahoe people, full and part time residents, and visitors. If you can help support these critical programs, please call (530) 542-2857. Pet Food Donations can be dropped off or picked up as staff is available. Call for current needs. Our organization is a 501(c)(3) public charity. Tax deductible financial donations in any amount are much appreciated and can be mailed to: Lake Tahoe Humane Society and S.P.C.A., P.O. Box PET, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96158.
